Nickel coatings are widely used in various applications demanding high corrosion and wear resistance. The main advantage of using EPT for Ni coatings are high rates of deposition and excellent ductility at subsequent cold metal forming steps such as wire drawing, rolling and flat wire forming. CAP Technologies can nickel coat wire from 0.008” to 0.137” as well as high and low carbon rod.
